2.24 3 and 2.24.4 have bugs (e.g. mozilla plugin fails to show videos).  I submitted a bug report to the upstream maintainers and they told me to upgrade to 2.26.

Totem 2.26.1 is already in the gnome overlay. It will be moved to portage when it's deemed ready for further deployment.

Please check out bug #263083 for bugs related to Gnome 2.26.

totem-2.26 has been in portage tree since a long time ago. Fixing resolution
