In files/rkhunter.cron "${RKHUNTER_EXEC} --update" should be
"${RKHUNTER_EXEC} --update --nocolor".

One more suggestion: RKHUNTER_OPTS="-c --cronjob --skip-keypress" is a little bit oversized. RKHUNTER_OPTS="--cronjob" should do the same (man page says that when option --cronjob is used --check, --nocolors and --skip-keypress are assumed).

This is fixed in 1.3.4-r3.
