Description Olivier Huber 2009-05-02 22:26:20 UTC
Nothing special. It seems to fix bug 265668.
I had to disable one test (it tries to connect to a ldap server).
I had some difficulties to find a generic url do download releases (https://fedorahosted.org/libuser/wiki/LibuserDownloads).
I removed the quotas use flag because nothing reefers to quota in the configure script

Thanks for your submission here. It still fails for me with:

# cat /var/tmp/portage/sys-libs/libuser-0.56.10/temp/automake.out
***** automake *****
***** PWD: /var/tmp/portage/sys-libs/libuser-0.56.10/work/libuser-0.56.10
***** automake --add-missing --copy

docs/reference/gtk-doc.make:7: GTK_DOC_USE_LIBTOOL does not appear in AM_CONDITIONAL
docs/reference/Makefile.am:53: `docs/reference/gtk-doc.make' included from here
docs/reference/gtk-doc.make:48: ENABLE_GTK_DOC does not appear in AM_CONDITIONAL
docs/reference/Makefile.am:53: `docs/reference/gtk-doc.make' included from here
docs/reference/gtk-doc.make:153: ENABLE_GTK_DOC does not appear in AM_CONDITIONAL
docs/reference/Makefile.am:53: `docs/reference/gtk-doc.make' included from here

then if I set WANT_AUTOMAKE="1.6" in the ebuild (suggested by google), I get this:

# cat /var/tmp/portage/sys-libs/libuser-0.56.10/temp/aclocal.out
***** aclocal *****
***** PWD: /var/tmp/portage/sys-libs/libuser-0.56.10/work/libuser-0.56.10
***** aclocal -I m4

aclocal: macro `bh_C_SIGNED' required but not defined
aclocal: macro `gl_AC_TYPE_LONG_LONG' required but not defined
aclocal: macro `gt_TYPE_LONGDOUBLE' required but not defined
aclocal: macro `gt_HEADER_INTTYPES_H' required but not defined

So, I have spent enough time on it that I don't care anymore. libuser will be masked in a few days for removal unless I get some help and strong displeasure.

I don't suffer this problem :-/

Are you using "testing" or "stable" tree? I am with "stable"

And... yes, I am against dropping system-config* stuff as I wanted to see system-config-printer usable in gentoo someday ;-)

Thanks!

Removed from tree.
