Description Johannes Jeske 2009-05-02 13:28:13 UTC
When I try to use my bluetooth dongle with KDE4.2.2 I can't compile solid with bluetooth so I can't use bluetooth as kdebluetooth works only for KDE3. It seems that it has been disabled because bluez4 is masked. So I can't do anything. Would someone edit the profile (??) so I can use bluetooth?

Reproducible: Always

Please attach emerge --info and the build.log or emerge's output if it gave you unresolved blocks.
Comment 2 Tomáš Chvátal (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2009-05-02 15:30:19 UTC
When you enable bluez interface you deliberetly disable the system for kde3. You can use kbluetooth4 in kde-testing overlay with this. The useflag is MASKED for the very reason.

This one is wontfix.

PS:
if you want to unmask the feature just run this:
mkdir -p /etc/portage/profile && echo "kde-base/solid -bluetooth" > /etc/portage/profile/package.use.mask
