Description DEMAINE Benoît-Pierre, aka DoubleHP 2009-05-02 10:01:29 UTC
Ewarn message is:

*** ackage: aspell-0.60.6
 * Appending a library link instruction (-lgpm); libraries to link to should not be passed through LDFLAGS
 *
 * Please re-install ALL your aspell-LANG dictionaries

The message should say *HOW* to reinstall dictionaries.
Comment 1 Wim Muskee 2009-05-02 11:43:25 UTC
I think it's clear. However, the last line could be changed to:

Re-emerge all aspell-LANG packages for which you set LINGUAS in /etc/make.conf.

Or,

Re-emerge all aspell dictionaries in /var/db/pkg/app-dicts.

1: telling to use emerge is a first step

2: it would be nice to say how to know which ebuilds to remerge (qlist ? equerry ? ).

Well, that ewarn was introduced in 0.50.5-r2 as a result of bug #53801 and now is not useful anymore. I just dropped it and thus bug is fixed. Thank you for this report as in other case I'd never noticed that.
