I believe that coredumb is already working on an ebuild for the imagemagick
support from PECL. Hopefully he'll be able to comment on his progress, and when
he's likely to be able to share :)

Best regards,

I've an almost finished PECL-imagemagick ebuild and will write a php-imlib
one too.
Assiging to myself.

Thank you for taking care of this, coredumb!

In case you haven't finished the php_imlib yet, it took me about two days
to find a patch in order to make it compile with newer versions of php, see
http://www.zend.com/lists/php-dev/200108/msg02862.html.

Ok, the PECL-ImageMagick ebuild is in the tree for a while now.
I've been working on a imlib-php one, but the extension is quite outdated and doesn't work properly (with the patch as well) - it doesn't even load.
There might be an imlib2 extension in PECL soon, so i'll see about adding it if and when it reaches PECL.
