Hi, xli is derived from xloadimage and some of its symlinks share the same filenames with xloadimage (and thus conflict symlinks from xloadimage). rico% qpkg -I -l xli media-gfx/xli-1.17.0 * CONTENTS: /usr /usr/bin /usr/bin/xli /usr/bin/xlito /usr/bin/xview -> /usr/bin/xli /usr/bin/xsetbg -> /usr/bin/xli /usr/X11R6 /usr/X11R6/lib /usr/X11R6/lib/X11 /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/app-defaults /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/app-defaults/Xli /usr/share /usr/share/doc /usr/share/doc/xli-1.17.0 /usr/share/doc/xli-1.17.0/README.gz /usr/share/doc/xli-1.17.0/chkgamma.jpg.gz /usr/share/doc/xli-1.17.0/TODO.gz /usr/share/doc/xli-1.17.0/README.xloadimage.gz /usr/share/doc/xli-1.17.0/ABOUTGAMMA.gz /usr/share/man /usr/share/man/man1 /usr/share/man/man1/xlito.1.gz /usr/share/man/man1/xliguide.1.gz /usr/share/man/man1/xli.1.gz rico% qpkg -I -l xloadimage x11-misc/xloadimage-4.1-r1 * CONTENTS: /etc /etc/X11 /etc/X11/xloadimagerc /usr /usr/bin /usr/bin/uufilter /usr/bin/xloadimage /usr/share /usr/share/doc /usr/share/doc/xloadimage-4.1-r1 /usr/share/doc/xloadimage-4.1-r1/README.gz /usr/share/man /usr/share/man/man1 /usr/share/man/man1/xloadimage.1.gz /usr/share/man/man1/xsetbg.1.gz -> /usr/share/man/man1/xloadimage.1.gz /usr/share/man/man1/xview.1.gz -> /usr/share/man/man1/xloadimage.1.gz /usr/share/man/man1/uufilter.1.gz /usr/bin/xview -> /usr/bin/xloadimage /usr/bin/xsetbg -> /usr/bin/xloadimage Affected symlinks are xview and xsetbg. I will attach patches to not install xli and xloadimage at the same time (and make symlinks for xview and xsetbg to xli man pages if xli is installed). App-crypt/gnupg defaults to DEPEND on xview from xloadimage but it can be one from xli, so I will add a patch for gnupg-1.2.2-r1.ebuild as well.

Comment on attachment 16189 [details, diff] patch for xloadimage-4.1-r1.ebuild btw, why xloadimage is in x11-misc? I think it should be in media-gfx as well as xli.
Fixed in CVS.
