Comment 5 Arfrever Frehtes Taifersar Arahesis (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2009-05-24 17:00:13 UTC
(In reply to comment #3)

These errors occur when the filesystem containing /var/tmp/portage is mount without "acl" option. You should mount this filesystem with "acl" option.
Comment 6 Arfrever Frehtes Taifersar Arahesis (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2009-05-24 17:17:07 UTC
I have improved error message in pylibacl-0.4.0.ebuild.

Comment 10 anomen 2009-08-31 07:19:53 UTC
comment 5: I think that instead of breaking build process, it should only print warning such as: "cannot run tests - Filesystem without acl support"

ebuild can probably do this by creating temp file and running setfacl before running tests. if it suceeds run test, otherwise print warning,

Comment 11 Arfrever Frehtes Taifersar Arahesis (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2009-10-03 21:56:22 UTC
dev-python/pylibacl-0.4.0-r1 will be stabilized in bug #287581.
