pylibmc is a python extension for the increasingly popular libmemcached library. libmemcached (through pylibmc) offers - increased speed aside - a large set of functionality not available in python-memcached or cmemcache trough its behaviors. Ebuild attached Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce:

I've kept this updated in sunrise and now feels it is time to move to gentoo-x86. Pylibmc has quickly grown to one of the premier memcached-libraries, recommended by django.
