Hi, romain has been of great help this far with gnome development so we want to start recruitement process so he can get things done faster. He'll work on gnome herd. I'll be mentoring him, probably in cooperation with remi.
++ from gnome.
I've sent my finished ebuild quiz, to recruiters@g.o :)
I've sent my finished and reviewed end quiz to recruiters@g.o :)
Romain, I will be your recruiter. Please contact me by IRC or email to schedule the first review session.
i've sent my fixed ebuild and end quiz with my "homework" (ebuild to fix) to recruiters@g.o :)
i've re-sent my final quiz and my final ebuild to recruiters@g.o
gentooAccess setup
Almost everything done. What we did: - LDAP - gentoo-core - bugzilla - cvs/svn groups on cvs.gentoo.org - IRC-cloak - sent you your LDAP/mail password via encrypted mail TODO: - announcement What you need to do: - subscribe to mailing lists with @gentoo.org address - request forum status bump in #gentoo-forums or by mail to forum-mods@gentoo.org (if you have a forums count) - send yourself mail to create .maildir - add yourself to mail aliases ( like java@gentoo.org ) see /var/mail/alias on dev.gentoo.org - ask team leads to add yourself to herds.xml for the herds you want to join or do it yourself if you have the permission to do so - set lat and lon attributes in LDAP if you want others to know where exactly you are located - set gentooIM if you want people to be able to contact you via other means than email - If you want a blog on blogs.gentoo.org, contact planet@gentoo.org For the mentor: - You are also responsible for the commits of your recruit during the first month so you should watch the commits of your recruit via gentoo-commits mailing list.
What I need to do : - If you want a blog on blogs.gentoo.org, contact planet@gentoo.org (already contacted but just one response since 1 week so i wait...) - request forum status bump in #gentoo-forums or by mail to forum-mods@gentoo.org (not contacted yet) that all :)
Announcement sent, all done.

We did not receive any emails from Romain so Infra please start the retirement process. Romain, thanks for everything you've done for Gentoo. If you ever want to come back, open this bug
- metadata.xml files cleaned - herds.xml cleaned - I think also references in projects are cleaned (didn't need to change anything), but still appearing in devrel/roll-call/userinfo.xml as I am unsure about if I am allowed to edit that file. - Bugs reassigned If this went ok, please let me know to proceed in the same way with other bugs with "infra-retire" in whiteboard. If I didn't anything wrong, please let me know also ;) Thanks

Regarding the userinfo page, *I* think that it is an autogenerated page based on LDAP information. So as long as the developer is marked as active in the LDAP system, he will appear on the dev list. ps: Thanks for your work, unless Jorge has any objections feel free to process more developers. And you may want to join our project as well :)

As we talked on IRC, I'd leave projects for after infra processes the bug. The roll-call stuff is automatic so you can't "fix it". > - Bugs reassigned > > If this went ok, please let me know to proceed in the same way with other bugs > with "infra-retire" in whiteboard.
