Bug 266773 – dev-db/sqlite-3.6.13 has incorrect recorded filesize

The downloaded tar.gz is 38 bytes larger than the expected filesize.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. emerge --sync
2. emerge =dev-db/sqlite-3.6.13
3.

Actual Results:  
('Filesize does not match recorded size', 2780584, 2780546)
!!! Fetched file: sqlite-3.6.13.tar.gz VERIFY FAILED!
!!! Reason: Filesize does not match recorded size
!!! Got:      2780584
!!! Expected: 2780546

Expected Results:  
Successful emerge.

I've tried syncing a few times over the past few days and cleaning out my distfiles. The problem still persists, however.

I encountered the same problem.  A quick fix is to edit line 16 of the /usr/portage/dev-db/sqlite/Manifest file.  Replace the current line with the following:

DIST sqlite-3.6.13.tar.gz 2780584 RMD160 2a9b3be1f087f63560ba63784b090b4fcf847d57 SHA1 632b5661ba7f59e92ce805ebcdf2cc3e9b28a051 SHA256 2ca2591847df72224dd6f99c8fffe35bb63bf41a8519d8e15ad48141aa841bfa

After doing that, I was able to emerge sqlite w/o a problem.

Confirming. Easily reproduceable by running

  GENTOO_MIRRORS="" emerge -f sqlite
