I try to install omix-4.0.1-r1 with pygtk 2.14.0 installed and obtain a mistake of dependences pygtk
Required dependencies:

Run python-updater and follow the error

Let's start with with a simple test:
open a terminal, run python, type 'import pygtk'
Does that print any errors ?

Solved the problem:
emerge-av pygobject pygtk pycairo
/usr/sbin/python-updater
