After updating app-misc/screen, invoking screen as non-root user fails with message "Cannot open your terminal '/dev/tty(insert number)' - please check." Before the update through emerge, non-root user did not have such error. Matter of fact, downgrading to screen-4.0.3_p20070403.ebuild after unmerging screen-4.0.3 allowed my non-root account to invoke screen with no such permission error. If something has changed to cause that kind of restriction intentionally in the updated application, then please forgive me, but my low iq brain could not infer such possibility after reading the ChangeLog. Perhaps, it is highly plausible that my system setup has been broked to begin with, lacking much wisdom, etc. If so, I apologize 1000 times.
