This stems from this thread: http://forums.gentoo.org/viewtopic.php?t=73175 Apparently, going to this address: http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/gentoo-x86-install.xml?style=printable will give a version of the install documentation that is formatted for printing. This information is nowhere to be found on the Gentoo home page, the main documentation page, or on the x86 installation page. It should be made available.
Any idea where? I wouldn't have a clue on where to put that information. Perhaps in the FAQ...
If it were strictly up to me, I would put a link at the top of the x86 install documentation that says "Click here for a printable version of this document" that links to http://www.gentoo.org/doc/en/gentoo-x86-install.xml?style=printable.

This is not a duplicate of the bug. This bugreport asks for a way to notify the users about the ?style=printable which is created due to bug 11267
Added a <note> on the docs.xml page (the main documentation page).
