From the website:

"hilite is a tiny utility which executes the command you specify, highlighting
anything printed to stderr. It is designed mainly for use with builds, to make
warnings and errors stick out like a sore cliche."

I'm attaching an ebuild script for this package. I've tested on x86 and sparc. I
imagine it should work on ppc, sparc64 etc. without any difficulties, but I
don't have access to these platforms to check.
