I'm trying to load my old login manager packages but when I hit the browse button I get a error which can be seen in the attached image

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.run kdesu /usr/kde/4.2/bin/systemsettings
2.goto Advanced->Login Manager->Themes->install new theme->browse

Actual Results:  
an error is occurring.

Expected Results:  
file list should be shown

Yep that was quite bug, it could be workarounded by using sudo.
Ftr since 4.2.4 this should not happen anymore.
So please reopen if it happen to you with that release.
I just tested it on 3 machines without issues.
