Summary says it all, really!  Also happens in 1.4.3.1.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Do a Pubmed search or open a database with some records
2. Click+drag a record


Actual Results:  
GLib-ERROR **: gmem.c:136: failed to allocate 3832020992 bytes
aborting...
Trace/breakpoint trap


Expected Results:  
Just a simple click+drag.

if you don't know how to receive a backtrace.

Thanks, but bibus is a Python program... what's the equivalent?

Fixed with upgrade to python-2.6.2.
