Description R Stephan 2009-04-16 15:44:24 UTC
After I converted an MPEG-2 AVI file using avidemux to MPEG-4 AVC (x264), when trying to read it again with the command »avidemux_gtk insulin«, it pops up a message box, saying "H.264 detected" and giving me two choices, both of which however always reopen the same box, with the frame counter staying at zero.

This reopening does not happen if I first start »avidemux_gtk« and click Open and load the file. However, the frame size is enlargened to 720x576 which kino for example doesn't find necessary.

The file is attached.

Can you reproduce this behavior with avidemux-2.4.4 ?

That's the way to keep people busy. it took me an hour to compile 2.4.4
just to test this and tell you: yes, I can reproduce it, and you
could have done it too, in seconds, if you have 2.4.4 available. BTW,
that's why I uploaded the file.

I haven't forgotten about this, just didn't have time. Let's see if this is fixed in 2.5.1, which should be added soon.

I can't reproduce this in 2.5.2, so I assume this is fixed.
