This is the first release of Loudmouth cut here at Engine Yard, but most of the changes that are part of this release were made before we took over the project. I'd like to thank Mikael, and all of the Loudmouth contributors for all of their hard work and good patches. the parallel make patch makes sense and should be pushed upstream. On the other hand the asyncns patch had a lighthouse ticket and I thought it was merged...
ah and now krb5 is automagic so that needs a patch too.
The asyncns patch does not seem to be merged. At least an unpatched configure.ac did not have a asyncns=system option, and the patch applied more or less cleanly (when hand-merging the pieces).
upstream does not have a clearly defined repository which is stopping me from cloning a creating a local branch for maintaining.

after getting someone to answer me on the irc channel, it seems the project is kinda dead currently. Since there is no reliable repository of the code I'm closing this LATER. Please reopen when upstream get back from the grave.
upstream situtation didn't clear up yet and telepathy-gabble switched to another library for 0.9 series.
