After emerged shadow-4.1.3, I found the problem. I modified my inittab. So after boot, I got a shell without login. Everything is just normal in this case. I can use ctrl-u to copy one command line, and use ctrl-y to paste that, and I startup vim, I can use backspace to delete charactors. But if I execute /bin/login, and after login, ctrl-y doesn't work after ctrl-u, and if I press backspace in vim, it will print something like ^? instead of deleting charactors. I downgrade shadow to 4.1.2.2, then the problems described above disappeared. The USE flags for shadow are audit, cracklib, nls, pam
