After upgrading to xterm-242 my bell no longer works. Other X11 applications such as xclock still sound the bell. The xterm visual bell stil works.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. type CTRL-G to bash running in xterm-242 window
2.
3.

Actual Results:
No audible beep!

Comment 1 Thomas Dickey 2009-04-30 19:10:02 UTC
This is fixed in #243...
Comment 2 Samuli Suominen (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2009-05-05 16:30:17 UTC
yep.. 243 is in portage now.. I guess it's this modification:

remove check on bell-percentage added in patch #242, which disallowed zero/negative values (Redhat Bugzilla #487829).
