1. enable ProPolice via -fstack-protector 
2. emerge lsof 
3. 
Actual Results:  
compile fails, as above 

Expected Results:  
emerge lsof should succeed.

Im filtering -fstack-protector for now, i'll investigate how to solve the problem.
