the switcher plugins leave artifacts on screen.

x86_64
xorg-server 1.5.3
nvidia-drivers-180.29 (really, it's independant of driver version, as I've tried many)
card: nVidia Corporation GeForce 9800 GTX (rev a2)

solved on the upstream tracker
