Everytime i 'emerge world -uavDN' perl keeps trying to compile with ithreads.. even though in make.conf i have -ithreads and also in packages.use i have -ithreads.. wassup with that? the only way it does listen is if i do 'USE=-ithreads emerge world -uavDN' any ideas? Reproducible: Always
Please attach your make.conf file as well as your package.use file. The output of "emerge --info" could be useful as well.

Post the output of: grep -r dev-lang/perl /etc/portage
Either he attached wrong package.use or is dyslectic, cause in the attached file there's a line: dev-lang/perl ithreads so everything works just as it should.
