I went to the URL specified in the comments of the ebuild and downloaded the appropriate file. After placing the file in /usr/portage/distfiles I attempted to emerge again. This displayed an invalid checksum error. Regenerating the digest fixed this issue.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Attempt to install ibm-jdk-1.4.2.13
2. Retrieve appropriate file from IBM's website and place in /usr/portage/distfiles
3. emerge --resume

Actual Results:  
Checksum error

Expected Results:  
Installation of the 1.4.2 JDK
