See forum thread in URL.  This bug is probably related to bug #3680.  Hopefully
this will provide more information needed to solve the problem.  The version was
1.4 final, if that's not clear.

This bug doesn't seem to exist on the new version (the one with the fixed
chroot problem) of the i385 basic Install CD.

Moving these so we can remove the "Install CD" component from "Gentoo Linux".

I apologize to everyone for this spam, but according to the bugzilla developers,
this is the only reasonable way to do this.
