While trying to emerge sys-block/noflushd-2.7.5 I get an error during the install phase:
"mv: cannot stat `/var/tmp/portage/sys-block/noflushd-2.7.5/image//usr/share/doc/noflushd': No such file or directory"

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.  Emerge sys-block/noflushd-2.7.5

Actual Results:  
mv: cannot stat `/var/tmp/portage/sys-block/noflushd-2.7.5/image//usr/share/doc/noflushd': No such file or directory

Expected Results:  
Successful merge

Build log and emerge --info attached.

you probably shouldnt have /etc/rc.d/init.d on your system ...

temporarily renaming /etc/rc.d while I did this merge fixed it.  Thanks.  I have put in two other bugs for the packages that currently have files in that directory.
