When ran on amd64 it just says:
"10 XError caught" and doesn't do anything.

Did you read the README? And the einfo messages? Is xterm installed?
Comment 5 Jeremy Olexa (darkside) (RETIRED) archtester gentoo-dev Security 2009-04-24 01:03:19 UTC
Of course I read that. xterm is all that I use.

Calculating dependencies... done!

Which window manager?
Comment 7 Jeroen Roovers (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2009-04-24 06:33:02 UTC
Reading from /usr/include/X11/X.h:

#define BadAccess     10    /* depending on context:
                 - key/button already grabbed
                 - attempt to free an illegal
                   cmap entry
                - attempt to store into a read-only
                   color map entry.
                - attempt to modify the access control
                   list from other than the local host.
                */

I would guess it's most likely that the default key combination is already taken (the first on the list of causes).

I guess I really don't know how to use this thing. *shrug* marking stable.
