Description Ajay Sharma 2003-08-13 00:30:32 UTC
when you rip CD's with Grip 3.1.1, the first disc will rip just fine but when
you pop in the next disc and ask it to rip all the tracks it will only rip the
first one (and it doesn't even encode the one track that it did rip)

Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. start grip
2. insert an audio cd into your drive
3. select the 'Rip' tab and then hit "Rip + Encode"
4. you will be prompted "No tracks selected, Rip entire CD?", say yes
5. the disc is ripped and encoded, then ejected like normal.
6. insert another disc
7. hit "Rip + Encode" and you'll get the "No tracks selected..." prompt. Say yes
8. It will start ripping the first track and then stop.
Actual Results:
After you rip/encode one complete CD, it will only rip (no encoding) one track
from the next disc.

Expected Results:
It should rip/encode the entire cd like I told it to.

One more thing... a temporary fix is that you just have to restart grip after every CD you rip/encode. It's *very* annoying though.

As this is the development version, i suggest that you post this upstream. It's more likely that they'll be able to help you in timely manner. I'll start to look into it but i suspect the author will be much quicker...

please try 3.1.2
Comment 4 Ajay Sharma 2003-10-25 10:40:05 UTC
I've tested this out and it works fine now. There are other issues with
grip that I will just file with them.
