Description Ivan Kurnosov 2009-04-06 05:54:33 UTC
After updating xorg-server to latest i get error: user cannot login KDE with kdm.
arter few experiments i get that adding -dri and turn it off elsewhere in xorg.conf solved this trouble.
i haven't much experience to debug deeper but i can post additional info if needed

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. update to latest stable xorg-server (1.5.3-r5)
2. remerge openchrome

Actual Results:
after typing kdm boot i specify login and password (not root user). after that black screen per 1sec and back to kdm.

Expected Results:
succesfull login.

Please attach your Xorg log and reopen this bug report. Better yet, re-emerge all x11-drivers/* and report back if that fixes the issue. If not, then do attach Xorg's log.
