The 1.1 version of Theora brings notable improvements. I'm using it and have encountered no problems so far, only better bitrates. Ebuild attached. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce:

Please attach unified diffs (diff -u) when you did changes to an ebuild. That would be much more handy for our devs.
Created attachment 187364 [details, diff] Patch to libtheora-1.0.ebuild Right, here's a patch. If it weren't for the header it would be empty, since an ebuild filename bump is all that is required.
In this case you simply don't need to attach anything to the bug report. Headers are getting changed automatically on any commit which our devs do to the corresponding ebuilds so there's no need to fiddle around with the header.
