Please read the error message you posted more precise: * APR-Util is linked against Berkeley DB 4.6, but you are trying * to build Subversion with support for Berkeley DB 4.7. * Aborting to avoid possible run-time crashes. So re-emerge dev-libs/apr-util (and maybe dev-libs/apr as well) against sys-libs/db-4.7 and you should be able to emerge subversion.
I see, thanks. I'm going to quickly reopen this bug to suggest that the message provided in the ebuild explicitly state something like: "APR-Util is linked against Berkeley DB ${apu_bdb_version}, but you are trying to build Subversion with support for Berkeley DB ${SVN_BDB_VERSION}. Re-emerge dev-libs/apr-util."
