Works great!
Though I don't see any output in /var/log/activemq.out
I changed one line in the "/usr/share/activemq/conf/log4j.properties" to "log4j.appender.out.file=/var/log/activemq.log", Maybe that could be patched into the ebuild?

Is there a reason for this to be called 'apache-activemq-bin' rather than just 'activemq-bin'? The other apache projects don't use the apache prefix.

I have an enhanced ebuild for 5.3.0, but I have named it 'apachemq-bin', and installed into /opt/apachemq, so is anyone interested in seeing it?

Yes I am highly interested. Does it also work for x86_64?
