Description Marcello Magaldi 2009-04-02 16:03:53 UTC
as reported in bug 264552 wxmaxima-0.7.4 doesn't compile anymore ( perhaps due to gcc-4.3.2 amd64 stabilization ) anyway wxmaxima >=0.7.5 builds fine (I tried 0.7.5 and 0.8.1) but it needs a newer sci-mathematics/maxima (>=5.15.0)

Reproducible: Always

It do not compiles for me too on x86 on gcc 4.3.2.
So stabilize maxima 5.18.1 and wxmaxima 0.8.2 I personally unmasked them and report problems if any here.
Comment 2 Vytautas 2009-05-10 07:41:29 UTC
maxima 5.18.1 and wxmaxima 0.8.2 works fine.

Do you mean that maxima 5.18.1 and wxmaxima 0.8.2 are x86-stable or only maxima?
I synced some minutes ago and only maxima 5.18.1 gets stabled, do you forget wxmaxima or probably the wxmaxima stabilisation wasn't propagated to my rsync mirror?

 Have some patience. Syncinc must have happened between my two commits.

Confusing multitude of warnings & package.mask entry blocking required RDEPEND/DEPEND, please clarify:
  RDEPEND.bad                   81
   sci-mathematics/maxima/maxima-5.14.0.ebuild: amd64(hardened/linux/amd64) ['dev-lisp/gcl']
(list goes on longer then bugzilla wants)

AMD64 aborting stabilization attempt.
