Description Klaas Decanniere 2009-03-28 12:20:47 UTC
When adding an extra monitor to my laptop and changing to a "twinview-below" configuration with "nvidia-settings", any newly started application opens in an XL-sized window with extra-large font. Annoying in it's on right, but if I then switch back to one screen the font gets scaled to "extra small" making it unreadable.
Applications and windows that already existed before the switch keep their size and appearance (as measured both in pixels and in centimeter)
I would like to prevent this behaviour, but can't find where.
It seems to happen with the "below" configuration but not with the left or right configuration

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.connect extra monitor to laptop
2.configure twinview with nvidia-settings
3.start new application

Actual Results:
new windows and fonts in the are extra-large

Expected Results:
don't change default size of windows and fonts

This is an upstream bug that should be reported, but since kde3 development is frozen and we can't do anything, i'll have to close it. Thanks for report though
