Are you sure ou're using the official ebuild from the portage-tree? g15daemon-1.9.5.3-r2 compiled flawlessly on my system some minutes ago.

I dont see how it could be marked stable since it was not able to compile at-all. " Yes it was broken but I had the old version of g15daemon-1.9.5.3-r2 Quick question what does the -r# mean?
