(In reply to comment #2) Maybe reemerge libassuan or try with a different version of libassuan...
ppc64 stable
Stable for HPPA.
Retried today after remerging libassuan which at least made the compile work, but one test fails: Making check in common make[1]: Entering directory `/var/tmp/portage/app-crypt/gnupg-2.0.10/work/gnupg-2.0.10/common' make check-am make[2]: Entering directory `/var/tmp/portage/app-crypt/gnupg-2.0.10/work/gnupg-2.0.10/common' make check-TESTS make[3]: Entering directory `/var/tmp/portage/app-crypt/gnupg-2.0.10/work/gnupg-2.0.10/common' t-convert.c:373: test 7 failed FAIL: t-convert PASS: t-percent PASS: t-gettime PASS: t-sysutils PASS: t-sexputil ==================================== 1 of 5 tests failed Please report to bug-gnupg@gnupg.org ==================================== make[3]: *** [check-TESTS] Error 1 make[3]: Leaving directory `/var/tmp/portage/app-crypt/gnupg-2.0.10/work/gnupg-2.0.10/common' make[2]: *** [check-am] Error 2 make[2]: Leaving directory `/var/tmp/portage/app-crypt/gnupg-2.0.10/work/gnupg-2.0.10/common' make[1]: *** [check] Error 2 make[1]: Leaving directory `/var/tmp/portage/app-crypt/gnupg-2.0.10/work/gnupg-2.0.10/common' Note that this is a regression from 2.0.9 (there, all run tests pass fine). I don't know how critical t-convert is.
same failure on ppc32 here too
Also fails for me on arm/s390 but not on ia64/sh/sparc/x86...weird...
Are you able to reproduce the same failures with app-crypt/gnupg-2.0.11?
Nope: make[3]: Entering directory `/var/tmp/portage/app-crypt/gnupg-2.0.11/work/gnupg-2.0.11/common' PASS: t-convert PASS: t-percent PASS: t-gettime PASS: t-sysutils PASS: t-sexputil ================== All 5 tests passed ==================
app-crypt/gnupg-2.0.11 will be stabilized in bug #267223.
(In reply to comment #11) > app-crypt/gnupg-2.0.11 will be stabilized in bug #267223. Done that, so removing alpha CC here.
