I'll have an complete new amd64 system and i can't install openoffice-3.0.0 nor openoffice-3.0.1. 

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:

Michael, please set the correct mime-type (binary file (application/octet-stream)) when you attach tar.gz files.

today i updated to the latest gcc(4.3.3-r2) and tried openoffice with the latest patches (3.0.1.3). Now it works, for me is the problem resolved :)

@Polynomial-C: In the future i will think on that, thanks for info :)
