Description Benoit Izac 2009-03-20 19:14:56 UTC
Since I've upgraded net-wireless/wireless-regdb from 20090130 to 20090309, I have wireless deauthentication and my wireless card disabled.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. upgrade net-wireless/wireless-regdb to 20090309
2. try a wireless authentication (I use WPA2 with wpa_supplicant)
3. wait and see

Actual Results:
kernel messages:
[ 95.922957] wlan0: authenticate with AP 00:0f:b5:f8:3a:cd
[ 95.924722] wlan0: authenticated
[ 95.924726] wlan0: associate with AP 00:0f:b5:f8:3a:cd
[ 95.929492] wlan0: RX ReassocResp from 00:0f:b5:f8:3a:cd (capab=0x431 status=0 aid=2)
[ 95.929496] wlan0: associated
[ 98.937068] wlan0: deauthenticated
[ 98.939988] iwlagn: index 0 not used in uCode key table.
[ 101.112555] iwlagn 0000:01:00.0: PCI INT A disabled

There is no wpa_supplicant processus.

Expected Results:
After I've downgraded to 20090130 (and rmmod then modprobe iwlagn module):
[ 392.430338] wlan0: authenticate with AP 00:0f:b5:f8:3a:cd
[ 392.432137] wlan0: authenticated
[ 392.432141] wlan0: associate with AP 00:0f:b5:f8:3a:cd
[ 392.434784] wlan0: RX AssocResp from 00:0f:b5:f8:3a:cd (capab=0x431 status=0 aid=2)
[ 392.434788] wlan0: associated
[ 392.457034] ADDRCONF(NETDEV_CHANGE): wlan0: link becomes ready
[ 402.558067] wlan0: no IPv6 routers present

wireless works fine now.

Today, after reboot, the problem is still present.

The problem occured there six days, I will try with a old kernel, maybe something has changed since 2.6.28.8.
