Created attachment 191781 [details] Compressed glibc-2.9_p200812 build log This is but the latest glibc I've tried on this mostly-stable amd64 box since enabling tests last year (when I took over its maintenance) and a USE flag change in 2.6.1 caused a rebuild, which failed in make check. Every version I've tried (except less than 2.6.1, which failed with the "don't downgrade" error) has failed in make check. Emerge --info in next comment (www-client/links apparently doesn't let you paste when in graphical mode)
