Description John Covici 2009-03-17 23:29:52 UTC
I have a user and made sure no gnome related or X related files were in the home directory, but when trying to log in using gdm, gnome-session does not start.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.
2.
3.
log in using gdm.
Actual Results:
gnome-session does not start.

Expected Results:
gnome-session and other processes should start.

which version of gnome-session and gdm are you running ?
Also, does your issue look like bug #256016 ?

I am running 2.22.3-r1 for gnome-session (?) and 2.20.9-r1 for gdm. I didn't get the last Email, sorry for the delay.

I did have that bug at one time, but this is worse.

not sure how you did that but it seems your gconf is broken. Is this still a problem btw ?

I found out that if I disable the xevie option in at-spi and upgrade everything this eventually is working.
