Description Daniel Gulotta 2009-03-14 22:03:51 UTC
At certain zoom levels, moving or copying a line leads to the line / its copy being slightly but noticeably off from the "point position" grid. This happens only if one moves / copies the line by clicking near but not on the line's endpoint; if one clicks exactly on the endpoint then the problem does not occur.

When the problem occurs, dx and dy are displayed as decimals instead of the usual fractions.

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Set Point Posn and Grid Mode to 1/8 inch
2. Zoom to zoom scale 1.5
3. Draw a line
4. Select the Move tool
5. Click on the line (near enough to an endpoint so that it gets picked up, but not on an endpoint) and move it.
Actual Results:
The endpoints of the line aren't on the grid any more.

Expected Results:
The endpoints of the line should still be on the grid.

Could you try to reproduce this problem in xfig 3.2.5b? I doubt anything changed there, but I failed to reproduce this problem with it.

Please, answer comment #1.
