The named ebuild creates a key file for use with rndc. The init file
(/etc/init.d/named) checks for the value of KEY being set. 

Since the file exists, there is no reason why the KEY variable should not be set
in the default /etc/conf.d/named file in the initial emerge of named.

This looks to be fixed, closing (reopen if I'm wrong)
