Description Markos Chandras (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2009-03-12 12:38:53 UTC
Since I updated to 2.6.28-gentoo-r3 kernel sources, X doesnt start any more with latest intel drivers. It starts however with 2.5.1 but the result is devastating .

I will attach a log

Maybe this is related to another 2.6.28-gentoo-r3 regression

https://bugs.gentoo.org/262258

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1.emerge gentoo-sources-2.6.28-gentoo-r3
2.emerge xf86-video-intel-2.6.3
3.launch X

Actual Results:
X should start fine

Could you attach the full Xorg.0.log please?

Thanks

Thats weird. I cant reproduce it anymore. I upgraded again on intel-2.6.3 but X starts fine

Oh well, closing as invalid :/
