Today's deep newuse world upgrade pulled in clisp (due to a texlive dependency, I suppose) which compiles OK (I get the ">>> Source compiled." message) but immediately after fails with this error: --------------------------- ACCESS VIOLATION SUMMARY --------------------------- LOG FILE = "/var/log/sandbox/sandbox-11058.log" mkdir: /var/cache/fonts/pk/ljfour/public/sauter -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- >>> Failed to emerge dev-lisp/clisp-2.47-r1, Log file: >>> '/var/tmp/portage/dev-lisp/clisp-2.47-r1/temp/build.log' Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. emerge --update --newuse --deep world 2. wait for clisp to compile 3. please attach full build log
Created attachment 184295 [details] clisp-2.47-r1 build log OK, here is it. Do you need 'environment' and 'eclass-debug.log' files too?
Any news about the issue?
More info: on amd64 clisp fails with the following error --------------------------- ACCESS VIOLATION SUMMARY --------------------------- LOG FILE = "/var/log/sandbox/sandbox-26765.log" mkdir: /var/cache/fonts/pk -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- In both cases the package was pulled in by setting the xindy flag in texlive. If you want, I can provide you the build log
Does it work if you add the next line to the top of src_compile inside clisp-2.47-r1.ebuild: export VARTEXFONTS="${T}"/fonts ?
(In reply to comment #6) > Does it work if you add the next line to the top of src_compile inside > clisp-2.47-r1.ebuild: > > export VARTEXFONTS="${T}"/fonts > Yay, this works! Tested both on x86 and amd64. Thanks!
Alexander, is this > export VARTEXFONTS="${T}"/fonts the best way to handle this?
(In reply to comment #8) > > export VARTEXFONTS="${T}"/fonts > > the best way to handle this? yes, it is.
This fix is in 2.48.
