I created a new ebuild for dvdrip-0.98.10. This is the changelog: http://www.exit1.org/dvdrip/changes.cipp?version=0.98.10 It works like a charm. I've tested it only on amd64. As you can see, this ebuilds differs from the previous one only in the name, but it satisfies all the deps. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: emerge -av media-video/dvdrip-0.98.10 Actual Results: It works like a charm I tested only on amd64. As you can see, this ebuilds differs from the previous one only in the name, but it satisfies all the deps.
Created attachment 184204 [details] dvdrip-0.98.10 ebuild I have only changed the name of the ebuild to dvdrip-0.98.10. It works perfectly.
Please only attach ebuild-diffs in case you changed something inside of the ebuild. Attaching ebuilds that only were renamed is completely useless. Reassigning to video herd.
Created attachment 184207 [details, diff] dvdrip-0.98.9-to-0.98.10.ebuild.diff According to the changelog, dvdrip-0.98.10 can be used with >=transcode-1.1.0 as well, so I tweaked the dependency on transcode accordingly.
It's strange. I can use my old version of transcode (1.0.7) however. I'm now doing a transcode operation with dvdrip 0.98.10 without problems.
(In reply to comment #4) > It's strange. I can use my old version of transcode (1.0.7) however. > > I'm now doing a transcode operation with dvdrip 0.98.10 without problems. dvdrip versions before 0.98.10 could only use transcode versions lower than 1.1.0. This seems to be fixed with dvdrip-0.98.10
