Pretty much exactly as the title says. After moving a window (fluxbox-1.0.0-r2, xorg-server-1.5.3), frequently one-pixel-thick black lines will appear on the window. They disappear when the application writes over them.

This bug is not about anything security related.
Please post your "emerge --info".

ati-drivers is a "binary blob" and there's little if anything we can do about bugs like this. I suggest checking out the meager (unofficial) resources ati links to from their driver page:
