Please add an ebuild of "Not So Simple Backup Suite" (https://launchpad.net/nssbackup) to the portage tree. It's a feature-enhanced fork of the simplebackup tool. I'd suggest app-backup/nssbackup. Maybe the plugins (included in the tarball) should be separated from the main app (app-backup/nssbackup-plugins).
