I think you are mistaken here qt-gui-4.4.2-r1 has mng use flag IUSE="+accessibility cups dbus debug glib *mng* nas nis tiff +qt3support xinerama ${IUSE_INPUT_DEVICES}" This bug is not valid. Emerge qt-gui with mng flag enabled If you still dont understand how or you still have problems please re-open it

Afaik, qt-core != qt-gui and you are required to remerge qt-gui and not qt-core!
