Hi there, There is a new notification daemon in town by the name of x11-misc/xfce4-notifyd in the Gentoo repository. As this package provides the same functionality (or intends to) as x11-misc/notification-daemon-[-xfce], could it be added to the PDEPEND of x11-libs/libnotify? Thanks and regards, Joshau Rich Reproducible: Always

Thank you for your contribution to Gentoo Linux :) I updated the blockers to make sure no collisions can occur, and have committed the PDEPEND update you suggested now. In about two hours, it'll be available on the public rsync mirrors.
